What should I expect from red devil chemo after CLL and lymphoma diagnosis?

Hi my name is Peggy I was diagnosed about 6 months ago with CLL/SLL non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and hospitalized about a month ago with dehydration and high count of calcium. At which time they did a biopsy of a lump in my groin area and that came back with large B cell lymphoma. At which time I started chemo which was 3 weeks ago this Tuesday the 25 and on this day I am starting the red devil chemo treatment which I have been told is pretty tough. I also had biopsies of other lumps in that area and that was the CLL also a bone marrow biopsy. We shall see. Good luck to all.

Can you work during lymphoma treatment with fatigue and stomach issues?

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with Follicular lymphoma that has progressed into Large B-cell. I was told I am considered to be stage 3 due to involvement on both sides of my diaphragm. I started treatment on the 22nd of October. My 3rd round will be on December 3rd. So far I have been dealing with tummy issues and serious fatigue. I am curious if anyone has been able to continue working throughout their treatment?

Is anyone with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma getting money from Roundup lawsuit?

Hello I have Hodgkin's disease I'm sorry if bad question but for you people with NON Hodgkin's lymphoma I know money wouldn't cover any of the time or anything you have endure but hopefully you have got mioney from the roundup lawsuit I'm just going to say I gareentee roundup company knew that they were going destroy a lot of people life's they should pay this might be morally wrong but even if you know roundup didn't cause your cancer say they did and if you want donate to a well deserved charities God bless I'm truly sorry for anyone that is dealing with any sickness and I'm sorry if this affended anyone

How do I deal with age discrimination during cancer treatment at 83?

Hi!Everyone calls me Becky. I have fl.My problem is I'm 83 and everyone says oh ,your going to die anyway, so what's the big deal? Well I'm still here and, I'm still human, I still have feelings. I take care of myself and I ask for very little from anyone, but when I do ,they act like why bother she's going to die anyway, even my Drs.It makes me mad because I'm still alive and I should be treated like everyone else ,with the respected and care giving to all.Not as if I'm disposable or no longer useful.It pisses me off.I needed to let people know older people still are alive, and we still have feeling's.Thinks for letting me get this off my chest.

Will my lymphoma mass shrink after 3 treatments?

I've had 3 treatments for Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma had PET scan done Thursday read results and the mass I have in my back has shrunk by a good bit won't know how much till Monday. It's always a good day especially when you get good news when you're dealing with cancer.

How can I cope with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma returning after 18 years?

My name is Jacqueline, I was diagnosed at age 57 with stage four grade 3a follicular Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I had 6 rounds of a chemotherapy called R-Chop followed by two years of Rituxan maintenance. I was in complete remission for over 18 years. I am now 75. In July I found out the beast had returned. I now have one area just under the skin on my upper left glute. It has been determined that it is now grade 3B (still not too sure as it is hard to diagnose if it's not in a lymph node). I will begin treatment with four rounds of Rituxan and pray that resolves the problem. If not, I will have to go through chemotherapy again which at my age I don't look forward too. I am totally grateful for my 18 years of remission...this illness is a roller coaster ride that none of us bought a ticket for. The ups and downs are sometimes difficult, but so is life in general, so try and enjoy the ride while we can. God Bless you all.
