What helps with mucus and cough during lymphoma chemo treatment?

Hi, I was diagnosed with diffuse large B cell lymphoma in Sept 2025. I’ve completed 4 cycles of RChop. Immunity is low and I keep contracting a phlegmy cough and congestion and I’m choking with mucous. Any over the counter remedies to help with this?

Does PTSD after lymphoma remission ever get better?

I was diagnosed with diffuse large b cell non hodkins stage 3 or 4 couldn't tell in 2023. Took 3 tries to get a biopsy for cell type. Did chop 6 rounds. Been in remission for almost 2.5 years. I still worry it will come back. Like I have ptsd. Anyone else experience this?

How are others handling POLA-R-CHOP treatment for B-cell lymphoma?

Hi my name is Jeff. Ill be 48 in 2 weeks. I was diagnosed in October with B cell non hodgkins lymphoma. I just finished my 4th round of pola r-chop yesterday. I also had my halfway point pet scan on monday. I received great news. My original pet scan showed my entire chest was covered with lymphoma. Now im down to 1small spot on my adrenal gland. Everything else is gone! I was so nervous to get the results. So now im down to 2 treatments then another scan. I take supplements as well to aid in my battle. I also take ivermectin and fenbendazole to help kill the cancer. I was nervous about getting chemo. 1st round was definitely tough and draining but the last 3 rounds haven't been bad. I haven't got sick throughout all this so thats a bonus. I go to work when I feel up to it. Just looking forward to getting through all this and getting back to normal.

Why can't I get straight answers about blood clots after lymphoma treatment?

Hi, everybody calls me Jo. I was diagnosed Feb. 23, 2023 with Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma. I took 3 chemo treatments with THE RED DEVIL followed up by something like Agent orange. On the third trip, I said half way through, I QUIT! NO MORE! I went home and did not return for 4 months. Then I took 27 radiation treatments. Was told I was good and to return in 3 months for follow up...now I can't get a straight answer, being 2 years out from treatment. Hospitalized for the 2nd time in 3 months with blood clots to the point of critical condition... I'm getting conflicting answers from the medical professionals

How will chemo affect my ability to exercise with B cell lymphoma?

Hello ,everyone calls JL. I was diagnosed on 7 December initially, I thought it was over but after further evaluation, I now see that I have a fighting chance. I am a very active 62-year-old I go to the gym for five times a week. I eat right none of that prevented me from getting cancer. I am afraid of what chemo is going to do to my body. I wanted to know if I will still be able to do some mild workouts. I have been told what I have. It’s called B cell lymphoma. lastly, I know it’s not intentional. It’s been very hurtful how people treat you as if you’re already dead.

Diagnosed with aggressive B-cell lymphoma - what to expect with RCHOP?

Hello Stephanie here, I was diagnosed the 6th of November with Aggressive B cell lymphoma i went to ED for my back hurting after a long shift at work. Found a mass the size of a lemon on my L5. I was in the hospital for two weeks where I under went my first chemo treatment and lumbar puncture where they are putting in methotrexate to keep it from putting pressure on my spinal cord. I will get the LP after every chemo. My chemo is RCHOP.

How do I talk about my cancer diagnosis without feeling like I'm bringing everyone down?

I was diagnosed in May of 2024 with small b-cell cll/sll lymphoma and leukemia. They removed a lymph node on the front of my left hip. I also had a bone biopsy. One of the most painful things I have felt in my life so far. I am being monitored with CT scans and blood work. So far nothing has changed. I still have a 6cm mass in my abdomen that they did not take out at the time due to it not presenting any issues. I have had increasing discomfort and pain from time to time. I have told my doctor. I am getting ready to do testing again. Wish me luck! I know the definition of courage is being scared as hell but, you saddle up and ride in anyway. It is frightening to me. I talk as much as I can with people that I have shared my diagnosis with. I am gaining strength in telling everyone. The thing is that most people are caught off guard by it. Because I look healthy and work daily. Even after surgery. I rested 3 days and went back to work. I of course ended up in the hospital with an abscess. Got that taken care of. Most people don’t know anything. How do you have these conversations about your own personal health and the possibilities of life, with others and not feel like you are bringing down the room? I want support not people feeling sorry for me, or worried I might not win this fight. Real World Problems, right?

Will chemo affect metal rods and hardware in my body?

I was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma cancer stage 2 I have done 2 treatments of cemo and going in for the 3rd round, l just wondering if the cemo will affect the rods and metal hardware in my back and face or should I just not let this run through my head??

What should I expect from red devil chemo after CLL and lymphoma diagnosis?

Hi my name is Peggy I was diagnosed about 6 months ago with CLL/SLL non Hodgkin’s lymphoma and hospitalized about a month ago with dehydration and high count of calcium. At which time they did a biopsy of a lump in my groin area and that came back with large B cell lymphoma. At which time I started chemo which was 3 weeks ago this Tuesday the 25 and on this day I am starting the red devil chemo treatment which I have been told is pretty tough. I also had biopsies of other lumps in that area and that was the CLL also a bone marrow biopsy. We shall see. Good luck to all.

Can you work during lymphoma treatment with fatigue and stomach issues?

Hello everyone, I was diagnosed with Follicular lymphoma that has progressed into Large B-cell. I was told I am considered to be stage 3 due to involvement on both sides of my diaphragm. I started treatment on the 22nd of October. My 3rd round will be on December 3rd. So far I have been dealing with tummy issues and serious fatigue. I am curious if anyone has been able to continue working throughout their treatment?
