Does anyone have experience with lenalidomide for follicular lymphoma with ascites?

I have low grade follicular lymphoma, im with a immunotherapy oncology. My first treat was Retuximab. I have heavy abdominal ascite, 6.5 Liters every 6 days. My doctor wants me to start taking by mouth lenidomide 10 mg everyday 21 days on 7 days off. My abdominal mass was measured around 15 cm by? Mesenteric. Im on a path now of hope and strength for the unknown. Does anyone has some knowledge on this? Thank you,

How long does lymphoma remission last and how long does recovery take?

Hello, I was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-cell and Follicular Lymphoma. I just finished my last round of Pola-R-Chip chemo and I am waiting for my PET Scan to be scheduled. I have two more rounds of immunotherapy alone. My doctor said I had a 50% chance of remission for 5 years or less. My question is for those who have experienced remission. How long were you in remission between treatments? How long did it take for your body to recover? My liver enzymes have been crazy high as is my LDH and glucose. My doctor said this was all treatment related.

What does stage 4 B-cell lymphoma mean if I have no symptoms?

Hi everyone, my name is Tina. I was diagnosed with b-cell lymphoma, aboutt a month ago. My PET scan was clear but I have a parotid nodule and my bone marrow biopsy showed it was in the bone. They say this makes me a stage 4 but so far I have no symptoms. I am in "wait and watch" mode right now, which is very stressful.

Will CAR-T therapy work if lymphoma is still active after chemo?

I’ve had CLL for fifteen years it mutated to an aggressive type b lymphoma I had 6 rounds of the red devil chemo it was still active so I had the CAR-T therapy there is still an active lymph gland and found a new one I’m being scheduled a CT I’m very nervous now that my hair is growing back and my eyebrows and eyelashes are back the thought of chemo again scares me please pray for me that the CAR-T does it’s job Linda

How do you find a new normal after DLBCL treatment?

DLBCL lucky to be alive. They could not figure out my diagnosis for a long time. Mesenteric mass. Biopsy was a mixed bag of no information. Then finally the cervical lymph nodes kicked off… Needle biopsies simply showed reactive or necrotic cells. The nodes grew fast. It was painful and bulky. Could hardly turn my head. Fast forward 6 months…So lucky to be at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. I just completed #5 of 6 or R-Chop. The finish line is in sight Question for the group… how does one make sense of all that has happened? What does a new normal look like? How do you live with the possibility that its an intermission and not a remission?

Do lymphoma cancer cells go dormant like other cancers?

I have B-cell lymphoma and I'm currently taking Lenalidomide. I just read an interesting article about how some cancer cells can go "dormant" - essentially hiding in the body even after treatment. While the article focused mainly on solid tumors like breast cancer, it got me thinking about whether this might apply to blood cancers like lymphoma too. It made me realize why ongoing treatment and monitoring stay so important, even when things seem to be going well. The idea that some cancer cells might be able to "hide" and potentially reawaken later really puts the long-term nature of cancer care into perspective.
