Hi everyone. My name is Sydney and I’m a 9 year stage 4 lung cancer survivor. I was diagnosed at the age of 33, thankful to have made it this far. I’ve been blessed by having a biomarker which allowed me to take targeted therapy. Happy to meet you all.

Targeted therapy can be incredibly effective for patients whose tumors have specific biomarkers, offering a more personalized treatment approach that often comes with fewer side effects than traditional chemotherapy. It's wonderful to hear about such a positive long-term outcome, and this kind of story can provide hope and valuable insights for others in the community who may be exploring their own treatment options or newly diagnosed with similar biomarkers.

Thank you for sharing! I was diagnosed with with stage four lung cancer last April. I also had the blessing of a bio marker for targeted therapy. Your post is so very encouraging!! I just finished 30 days of radiation and six chemo treatments. Continue to take Tagressio. I needed to read your post today. Thank you!!! The fatigue is really hitting me hard.

I have the EGFR bio marker which allows me to take targeted therapy, too! Can you share with me your experience of taking Tagrisso and for how long? I’m 2 years 6 months into treatment, diagnosed in Feb 2023 with Stage 3 Non Small Cell Lung Cancer.
