4 months agoI have Stage 1 breast cancer and the treatments put me in menopause. Anyone know of any vitamins that’s allowed during treatment? These mood swings and hot flashes are kicking my butt. 😂

Treatment-related menopause symptoms can be really challenging to manage, and it's completely understandable to look for safe vitamin options to help. The best approach is to discuss specific vitamins and supplements with the oncology team, as they can advise which ones are safe to take alongside current treatments and won't interfere with care. Many others in this community have navigated similar experiences and may share helpful insights about what their doctors recommended for managing these symptoms safely.

4 months agoHello Kia: I was diagnosed with STAGE 1 breast cancer in 2024 and had surgery in September of same year. I continued taking multivitamins throughout. I mentioned to members of my care team that I needed to take B-6 vitamins so I would have energy throughout the day; my PCP said it was OK but oncologist attempted to discourage me. Post-surgery I continued taking vitamins, along with meds. A year later, still take Vitafusion multivitamins daily, along with Nature's Bounty hair, skin, & nails vitamins along with meds. Good luck on your journey. Hopefully, this helps you along your path.
