5 months agoHello everyone my name is LaTanya and I am working on being a full-time cancer survivor. I was first diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and 17 rounds of radiation was the treatment. I am being told that the radiation is what caused me to be diagnosed four years later with triple negative breast cancer in 2021. I was treated me with 16 rounds of chemo, KeyTruda, and six months of oral Xeloda. under my right arm). Just 2 1/2 years later, I was diagnosed with the same Triple negative cancer under my right axilla (right armpit) and the treatment consisted of going back to surgery excising the mass, eight rounds of chemo followed by 16 rounds of radiation. I just finished my radiation March 31, 2025 and as of 2 1/2 weeks ago I recently found another nodule. and a tissue biopsy both of the last two recurrences were in the same location. I’m fully aware that Triple and negative breast cancer has a high rear occurrence rate, however, I’m truly feeling like there’s no literature, data, research, or clinical trials for individuals such as myself. Would anyone like to weigh in?
