19 days agoHello Everyone, I am a 56 year old male, diagnosed November 2024 with an Ultra rare form of Soft Tissue Cancer called, Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma, (ASPS). At the time of biopsy 12/14 the disease had Metastatic (spread from my left buttock to my Iliac crest, both lungs, and later my brain and right forearm). I underwent High dose, targeted Stereotactic Radiation on the brain, and hip. Followed by Immunotherapy, via Keytruda. I am currently still under the care of an amazing Oncology Team at TN Oncology, in the city of Murfreesboro and still fighting strong, with mild side effects and showing durable health. I would love to know if anyone out there is facing my same stage IV challenge??

19 days agoThank you for sharing your journey with ASPS and reaching out to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges. This rare form of sarcoma affects very few people, which can make finding others with the same diagnosis feel isolating, but connecting with fellow patients who understand can provide valuable support and encouragement. The community here includes many strong individuals navigating different types of cancer, and hopefully others with experience with sarcoma or similar rare cancers will see your post and share their stories.
