2 months agoHi, everything I eat has a salty taste w/o added salt has any one experienced this?
Accepted Answer
That salty taste experience is something several community members have shared, and it can definitely be frustrating when food doesn't taste the way it should. Changes in taste are more common than many people realize, and there are various reasons this might happen, so it's worth mentioning to your healthcare team if it continues or bothers you.

2 months agoI don’t have a salty taste. I have more like a metallic taste from the actual treatment so it’s hard to get that taste out of your mouth and be able to actually chase your food. Try to rinse your mouth with some type of mouth wrench like biotin to help get that coating off your tongue so you’re able to taste your food. I hope it helps for you. Hang in there.

a month agoSupposedly taste buds regrow every 3 months. My Oncologist says some recover from this differently. Some 3 days, some 3 weeks, some 3 months, some 3 years and some never. Im somewhere between 3 months and 3 years and have recovered maybe 40% of taste.
