Hi, my name is Charlene I'm new to the group malignant tumor of the left buccal mucosa 8/25. I've had surgery and told it was completely removed, but my next option is radiation. In which I start in a few weeks I'm scared and very nervous.

It's completely natural to feel scared and nervous before starting radiation treatment - these feelings show how much you care about your health and recovery. Many people in this community have walked a similar path and found that connecting with others who understand can provide comfort and practical tips for managing anxiety during treatment. Consider reaching out to your healthcare team about your concerns, as they often have resources and strategies to help ease pre-treatment worries.

I think you'll be fine with the radiation. Other than fatigue, I really didn't notice any side effects. Wishing you well.
