10 months agoWhere is the best place to get a wig? I was diagnosed with her to triple positive cancer. Started chemo yesterday and was told that I was definitely going to be losing my hair. We have a shave party scheduled on the 20th of this month and I wanna be prepared because I will not have hair.

Finding the right wig can feel overwhelming, but many cancer centers and hospitals have partnerships with local wig shops that specialize in medical hair loss and understand the unique needs of cancer patients. The American Cancer Society also offers free wig programs in many areas, and online retailers like HairUWear and Paula Young have extensive collections designed specifically for chemo patients, with helpful sizing guides and return policies to ensure the best fit.

6 months agoIt gets overwhelming when you're first diagnosed. After a while, you start learning about what you need and it's not going to be hair. Bless Up!
