How Long Should I Wait to Shower After Port Placement?

I was told 24 hours, but I kept mine dry by covering. Anesthesia can cause that pressure with bladder sensation. Drink plenty of water. Always talk to your doctor if anything seems off.

I showered 4 days later. My area was covered with a clear wrapping.

My area was covered on day one with wrap and I showered on day 2.

So I'm assuming all here had bladder removal? If so can anyone speak on their recovery process. I've been referred to have mine removed due too a large (4.1cm) tumor.
