Hi everybody. My name is James and I have stage four prostate cancer. I’ve been in remission for a couple years now. I am currently going through hyperbaric chamber treatment for a bladder burn caused by radiation about three years ago. I have all the side effects from the Lupon shot that I take Which sucks. However, I am in remission and not supposed to be enough.

Thank you for sharing your journey and bringing hope to others in this community. Staying in remission for a couple of years is truly something to celebrate, even while managing the challenging side effects and additional treatments. Your openness about both the victories and the difficult parts of living with cancer can help other community members feel less alone in their own experiences. How has the hyperbaric chamber treatment been going for you so far?

Hi James, I have Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. I am also in remission. I had a prostatectomy, radiation, and am now on hormone therapy (Leuprolide Acetate). I have a lot of the hormone side effects so I empathize with you. My prayers are with you.

James- T3b, N1, MO at diagnosis in 2018. 6 years and 9 months on my PSA is <.1 after 3 years Lupron, 2 years Zytiga and 45 days of radiation. Had all the usual side effects including two procedures for urethral strictures. No cancer would have been better, but grateful for the treatment and benefits. I’m feeling well. Labs in two weeks. Hoping, but always grateful for the days.
