4 months agoHi My name is Martin and I am new to the group. I was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2016 and after 10 rounds of hail mary high dose chemo I went into remission and stayed there until March of this year. While I did have problems during my remission nothing that could not be solved with medication. This time around the 1st 3 rounds of chemo caused me to have a reaction that gave me heart failure and damaged my heart. I am trying a new chemo that is suggested after genic testing of my cancer. It may help me or further damage my heart before we can tell and stop the treatment. Nobe of the chemo is going to cure me but only give me a little more time.

4 months agoWelcome to the community! Chemotherapy can indeed cause heart-related side effects, and this is something that oncology teams carefully monitor during treatment. It sounds like you're working closely with your medical team on finding the right approach for your situation, which is so important. Many community members here have faced similar challenges with treatment side effects and may be able to share their experiences with managing these concerns alongside their care teams.

I have to decide on a treatment of Car T cell or Tecayli they both have a lot of side affects. I asked the team could I go back to Belantamab that work but was taken of the market now it’s back no response. Help
