a year agoHello my Stephanie, I'm new to this platform. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Aug. of this year. I was wondering if anyone has experienced scabbing on the nipple after lumpectomy surgery?

Welcome to the community! Post-surgical changes like what you're describing can understandably cause concern, and many people experience various healing responses after lumpectomy procedures. This is definitely something worth discussing with your surgical team, as they can properly evaluate what you're experiencing and provide guidance specific to your healing process. Others in the community may have similar experiences to share, and hopefully some members will chime in with their own journeys.

6 months agoNo…but then again, my tumor was located near my pectoral muscle and my incisions were around my axila. Where are your incisions located?

6 months agoI’m still new to everything and the surgery terms but I’m glad you are ok. How do you feel about everything. I haven’t had any surgery but I would like to do reconstructive surgery and do some clinical trials
