Skin changes I have Multiple myeloma and I noticed my skin is getting darker and dry. My eyes are red and dry even after instilling moisturizing eye drops. I’ve used shea butter and all kinds of lotion. Any ideas what to do?

Skin changes during multiple myeloma treatment can be challenging to manage, and it sounds like you're dealing with several uncomfortable symptoms at once. These types of skin and eye changes can sometimes be related to treatment side effects or other factors, so it would be worth discussing these specific symptoms with your healthcare team to get personalized guidance on the best approaches for relief. Other community members here may also have helpful suggestions about products or strategies that worked for them during their treatment journey.

Hello Lori I use Cerave healing ointment, laRoche Posay triple repair moisturizing cream. It helps a lot. Cerave cream in the jar you can use all over even on your face, different from the ointment plus they also have gentle cleanser for your face.

Hi Lori, I too have really dry skin from cancer treatment, I use Aquaphor right after I shower and it works really well, and I use a scent free Aveno shower liquid for sensitive skin. My oncologist also recommends urea cream, I’ve been told by my doctor to avoid perfume and scented cleansers and moisturizers. I hope this helps 🙂
