I was diagnosed with stomach cancer in February. After 12 sessions of chemo my biggest problem is the neuropathy in my hands, feet and legs. Sometimes I have a problem keeping my balance

Neuropathy and balance problems are challenging side effects that many people experience during treatment, and it's important to discuss these symptoms with your care team since there are various approaches that might help manage them. Physical therapy, certain medications, and specific exercises can sometimes provide relief, though what works varies from person to person. Have others in this community found strategies that helped them cope with similar symptoms during their treatment journey?

I have some neuropathy after chemo but not nearly as bad as yours. Balance & fatigue improved with physical therapy. I still get fatigued easily but it is improving slowly. My last chemo was this past June. It takes time.

I am in treatment for colon cancer and have the same hand and foot syndrome and neuropathy caused by my ongoing treatment. I too have a hard time with my balance. I take gabapentin and it helps a bit. What helps me is having lightweight shoes that fit well and no open backs, I threw out my slides 🙂
