Hi here's a little info on me. I'm on my 6th chemo and this TP53 mutation is causing the chemo treatments to not be as effective. I was 1st diagnosed in September 2023 and started chemo in November of that year. I had a lumpectomy in April 2024, a mastectomy in July 2024. Started Xeloda in November 2024 relapsed. Started Trodelvy in January 2025 relapsed, started Eribulin in December 2025 and the tumors started growing like crazy in the mastectomy area, under my left arm, and head towards my back. January 2026 stared Gemcitabine, Carboplatin, and Keytruda. Saw some shrinkage, but I missed a treatment cause my numbers were too low and they started growing again. March I started Doxorubicin and have noticed the tumors have shrunk and are not protruding in the mastectomy area, but I've had open wounds since using the Eribulin in that area. I'm also looking for clinical trials for my mutation.

Thank you for sharing your journey and being so open about the challenges with TP53 mutations. While these mutations can make treatment more complex, many patients do find effective therapies, and it sounds like you're already seeing some positive response with your current regimen. Clinical trials specifically targeting TP53 mutations are an excellent avenue to explore, as they often provide access to newer targeted therapies designed for these specific genetic changes. The research community continues to develop more effective treatments for TP53-mutated cancers, so staying connected with your oncology team about emerging options and trial opportunities could be really valuable for your care plan.
