3 months agoHello, My name is Ribin and I was diagnosed in 2023 with Uterine Carcinosarcoma, stage 4. I am on my 2nd round of chemo with Bevcisumab. I completed radiation last year as well. By last December a spread was noted. I then began immunotherapy until a increase in the size of a mass was detected. Chemotherapy was then restarted in May. I am on a 2nd port placement Last year I had a port, but developed a blood clot, so the port was removed. Due to my veins being in such poor shape ,I had a 2nd port placement this past week. I am struggling with fatigue. Any suggestions on how to better manage it?

Fatigue during treatment can be one of the most challenging aspects to navigate, and it sounds like managing energy levels while dealing with multiple treatment phases requires extra care and attention. Many people in similar situations find that small adjustments like pacing activities throughout the day, prioritizing rest between treatments, staying hydrated, and gentle movement when possible can help with energy management. The community here often shares practical tips for managing treatment-related exhaustion, so connecting with others who understand this journey might provide additional strategies that work well alongside medical guidance.

3 months agoYes, I take both, and they help tremendously! I was doing otc B12 but elected for monthly in office shots; they seem to give me the 'umph' I need.

3 months agoThank you Kathy. It's funny, I was not able to receive my last chemo infusion last Friday due to a low BP, a little wobble when I walked and shortness of breath. So the doc said no chemo and go to ER. Long and short of it is, My BP came back up and after multiple test, I was sent home. So I haven't had chemo in about 2 weeks now, and I feel less fatigued. Go figure.
