2 years agoWhat treatment better once every week for 12 weeks or once every 3 weeks for 6 cycles?
Accepted Answer
Treatment schedules can vary significantly based on individual factors like cancer type, stage, and personal health circumstances. Both weekly treatments for 12 weeks and every-3-week cycles for 6 treatments have their own benefits and considerations that oncologists weigh carefully when creating treatment plans. The medical team will consider factors like effectiveness, side effect management, and quality of life when recommending the best schedule for each person's unique situation.

9 months agoA friend of mine had a better time with one a month as it gave her more time to regain white blood cells in between infusions and stay out of the hospital.

9 months agoMy treatments are every 3 weeks. My first treatment was 8/26/24 and on 9/16/24 my 2nd. Just 2 more to go. I’m able to return to how I felt pre chemo during this window of time. Next up will be radiation. I know God Got Me. Be blessed my sister.

9 months agoHi Tawanda! We are right there together. I have two more treatments and then 2 weeks of radiation. The second infusion was AWFUL!! I felt really BAD. No nausea, but just sick with head pain and dizziness. I pray the last 2 will not be a repeat. But guess what??.......We got this!! I am scheduled for 10/18 and 11/8. Praying for us all! Stay blessed and positive!
