How do I choose between treatments for recurrent bladder cancer?

My bladder cancer has come back and I'm looking at different treatment options. My oncologist mentioned several possibilities including continued monitoring with regular check-ups, immunotherapy like BCG (bacillus Calmette-Guérin) that goes directly into the bladder, chemotherapy medications also placed in the bladder, bladder removal surgery, or clinical trials for newer treatments. There's a lot to consider and I'd love to hear from others who have faced similar decisions. • What treatment option did you choose for recurrent bladder cancer and how did it work for you? • What factors helped you decide between the different approaches available?
