What does it mean when bladder mass cells aren't from the bladder?

I have had a mass removed from my bladder. I have been advised cells in mass are not bladder cells. In fact they have not given me clear information on where the cells came from. Labs are unclear. I feel like my Urologist is either not very educated on Cancer or they are not telling me something. Have referred me to oncology. Any advice?

How did your first BCG treatment for bladder cancer go?

Had my first BCG treatment today for HG Ta NIMBC. Treatment went great, had no problems holding the medication in for 2hrs. Hope the other 5 treatments go just as well.

I had tumor removal and muscle invasive. Remission with keytruda and PV. Nephrostimy stents..Major urgency, pelvic pain, back pain. Considering Botox next exchange. No incontinence. Others?

Can trimodal therapy effectively treat high-grade bladder cancer?

I have been diagnosed with HG MIBC. Tumor was removed and now scheduled to meet with oncologist/care team. I want bladder-preserving therapy; I don’t want bladder removal. Several specialists suggested for me to ask for trimodal therapy (TMT); which I would like to consider. Is it effective for HG MIBC? Any ideas?

Can't keep bladder chemo in for full time - any tips to help?

I am Dx with T1 bladder CA. I started with 6 BCG treatments but because I had a reaction to the Covid Vaccine 4 years ago (CIDP)my second urologist started me on Gem/Dox. Originally I had a 6-7 cm tumor High Grade removed but did not go into the muscle. I had my first chemo and due for second this week. First time I couldn’t keep the meds in the full time. Has anyone had that experience and what has worked for them to mitigate that.
