Can you beat bladder cancer after BCG treatment fails?

I hope this message will help those who are worried that they will not end the cancer nightmare. After one year and 2 BCG failures, my cystoscopy showed all clear Today. I have at least a year of maintenance- monthly treatments and cystoscopy every quarter. But I’ll sure take it. We are so happy. When he uttered those words, we were thrilled. The name of this treatment I had for this past set is called Gemcitabine/Docetaxel. Look it up and research it, ask your doctors. THERE IS HOPE. Good luck to all of you.

Hi was diagnosed with bladder cancer stage one tried BCG treatments but it did not work I was told I have squamous cell cancer they will be removing my bladder in January. I’m scared and not looking forward to this. I am 5 years clear of colon cancer which was stage 3.

I was diagnosed, but I haven't been told the stage or grade yet. I was told the probable treatment would be chemo, then bladder removal. I have an appointment tomorrow with one of my urologists, and then an appointment with oncologist on the 15th. I had low grade low stage breast cancer 13 years ago, radiation no chemo.
