How can I help my boyfriend cope with bone cancer pain before treatment?

My boyfriend just found out he has malignant bone cancerin his spine and leg they found masses in liver and lunghe not on pain med yet till he sees his doctor he's in very much pain it hard to see him like that.

How do you manage severe bone pain from cancer when medications aren't enough?

I have bone cancer and am experiencing severe bone pain. I'm currently taking three pain medications - Gabapentin (gabapentin), oxycodone, and Lortab (hydrocodone plus acetaminophen) - but the pain has become really intense lately. My care team suggested this might mean my current pain management approach needs some changes, and they want to reassess things. I'd love to connect with others who have dealt with severe bone pain during cancer treatment and hear about your experiences. • What has your journey with bone pain management looked like, and what approaches have you tried? • Are there any comfort measures or daily strategies that have helped you get through the tough days?

How do you cope when inflammatory breast cancer returns as stage 4?

Hi! I started with inflammatory Breast cancer in 2021. Everything happened quickly: Chemotherapy; double Mastectomy and last radiation! For 2years I was in remission. In Jan 2026 I am now diagnosed with Stage 4 Bone Cancer, the cancer is in every bone even my spine. Plus in my gastro/hepatic lymphnodes. And some metastatic in my liver. I started on Ibrance and Arimidex.

Does anyone else have bone marrow cancer and take INQOVI?

Does anyone else have Bone Marrow Cancer? I'm taking INQOVI 5 DAYS EVERY 28 DAYS. I was told my only hope was a Bone Marrow transplant. I am 73yrs old can't see myself going through this for a 50-50 chance.

How do you cope with anxiety starting Kisqali and Faslodex for metastatic breast cancer?

Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. Did great without chemo or radiation, just a daily dose of Anastrozole. Fast forward to this May when I started getting shoulder pain. Just thought it was rotater cuff problems. After PT and many tests, I did not expect a metastatic cancer diagnosis. Well, tomorrow I start Kisqali and then Monday I get my first Faslodex shot and next month I start Denosumab monthly injections. Needless to say, I am so anxious about the "Unknown". Side effects, body changes, and my overall daily well being. I did really well 2 years ago and I fear what's ahead. Would appreciate any feedback, good or bad.I tend to overthrow things, which usually causes insomnia. I just turned 60 last week ago and never imagined this would be how I would start a new decade.

Is there anyone else with stage 4 breast cancer that spread to spine?

What are alternatives to chemo for metastatic squamous cell carcinoma?

HI there, I'm Michael Jacobs and have squamous cell carcinoma that metastasized from my neck and first landed on my liver then went to my sixth rib and pelvic area. I have found that the chemo we just tried is too much for me. I did three different compounds that put me in the hospital for six days with my immune system wiped out. I've decided NO MORE CHEMO for me. My oncologist wants to put me on immunotherapy but after reading up on the side effects I'm not doing that either. Does anyone here have any experience with ivermectin and fenbendazol? My wife and I have been reading some life experiences of people that have had their cancer go into remission and are completely clear with this. It certainly can't be any worse than the chemo.
