Is there a comprehensive list of foods that block estrogen for those with ER + cancer? I have had trouble researching this as there's a lot of conflicting information which will tell you a certain foods block it but also increase estrogen. Thank you.

The confusion around estrogen and foods is completely understandable, especially when research seems to contradict itself. Many foods contain compounds that can have both estrogen-blocking and estrogen-like effects depending on various factors, which makes it challenging to create simple lists. Speaking with an oncologist or registered dietitian who specializes in cancer care would be the best way to get personalized guidance that considers your specific treatment plan and nutritional needs.

I have a Naturopathic Oncologist and we are working on a diet since I am not taking the blocker. So far it is organic dark green leafy vegetables and berries especially, 8-12 serving daily. Fibre, lots. Filtered water, half my weight in ounces. Cold water fish. No dairy. No sugar. I meet with her again on 6 September and it will be fine tuned. I would be happy to share them, if you'd like.

I eat really healthy- no sugar, fruits and vegs, no prepared food, no fried food and I stay away from soy since they bat it’s pros and cons around like they did coffee. Low fat dairy, no sweets except one square dk choc once a week. I also carefully research cosmetics, vitamins, herbs etc. I take bone building vits and do collagen in my coffee twice a day. I also exercise.💕

I just purchased a new book called moving through cancer by Dr Kathryn Schmitz. Wish I could have bought this book in 2016 when I was first diagnosed. I am now stage 4 metastatic breast cancer her2+ her2- everything is in the book and it is study based. 💕 a great read.

They’re called Pure Health bone building supplement. I take them 2x a day only 1 capsule bc my onco dr said their recommended 5 capsules is too much calcium. They were good about adjusting my shipment. I also do Nativepath collagen. I refuse to do bone drugs.

I am 95% ER+. No alcohol, sugar or processed meats. Lots of green leafy, broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage. Blueberries, strawberries. I try to go organic as much as I can. I’m also taking Letrozole, double Caltrate and double vitamin D3 for bones. Next week I start radiation. I carry the BARD1 gene
