I started Letrozole today. People that take this, if it caused nausea, how long after taking it did nausea happen?

Nausea from Letrozole can vary quite a bit from person to person - some experience it within hours of their first dose, while others might notice it after a few days or weeks of treatment. Many community members find it helpful to share their experiences with side effect timing, so hopefully others who've been on this medication will chime in with their perspectives to help guide what you might expect.

Hi! I started Letrozole 5 months ago and have never experienced any nausea. The only side effect I have had is dry eyes.

Started Letrozole one month ago, no nausea, but possibly a little insomnia. But hard to say since I have sleep apnea, anyway.

Donna: for the dry eye problem, you might try fish oil capsules. They have helped me with both that plus high triglycerides.

I have been taking anastrozole for 3 months now. I had SEVERE nausea at first. Even lost weight. I switched to taking it with a large meal and eventually to taking it at bedtime and that resolved the nausea
