a year agoI was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I’m waiting to see if my her2 is positive or negative to determine what type of treatment I should receive. But I’m terrified!! I’m scheduled to have a PET scan on Monday to check if the cancer has spread beyond the lump and the lymph node under my arm.

The fear and uncertainty surrounding test results and treatment planning is completely understandable, and many in this community have walked a similar path of waiting for important test results. While the PET scan and HER2 status results feel overwhelming right now, these tests provide crucial information that helps medical teams create the most effective treatment plan possible. This community is here to offer support and encouragement as you navigate these next steps - please feel free to share how you're doing or ask any questions that come up along the way.

6 months agoA castor oil compress should help the tumor pain. I had to have it on 24-7 the first 3 months. Now it’s way smaller and I only put it on at night. PET scan isn’t so bad. I thought it was interesting. I’ve refused surgery radiation and biopsies. I’ve been doing things to give my body the conditions to heal itself like it was designed to do. If you choose treatment, there are things you can do to help your body recover. Chris Beat Cancer on YouTube.

6 months agoThe pet/cat to see if it spread was one of the scariest weeks of my life. Breathe and pray. Stay off Google and don’t do day countdowns
