2 months agoLymphedema after breast surgery can be really uncomfortable and many people in this community have dealt with similar challenges. The pain and swelling can be frustrating, but there are often ways to manage symptoms - it might help to discuss options like physical therapy, compression garments, or other treatments with your medical team.

2 months agoHi Lymphedema is very common when u have nymph nods involved. It can be very painful at times. But the compression selves could help. When u finally do get it make sure it covers ur wrist along with glove cause otherwise ur hand and wrist will swell up. I’m glad u’re feeling better . Please keep in touch and let me know u are. 2 months agoHi it’s me I’m going to be honest I never had that. But I assume if u put heat or cold on it it should feel better U have to remember u were cut so u would expect to be sore just like if u cut urself on ur arm or anywhere else. It needs time to heal but make sure when u see the Dr. that u don’t have any infection and if u do get antibiotic. That will help the infection cause that’s what it sounds like.!otherwise how are u feeling? I hope better. Please let me know how u are and what the Dr. said. Are u running a fever? Feel better. Mary

19 days agoHi I’m sorry it took so long to get back to u but I think we finally found furniture we like. So it remains to be seen. When I see it in my bedroom in my house I’ll believe it. Ok let me see if I can explain this: ok as u know when u have cancer they usually put a port up by ur neck . Well in the port is where they put the chemo or another medication that they give in relationship to the disease. It’s like they put an IV in ur arm in the vein . IV only stays until u leave the hospital but the port is permanent. Thank God cause I have poor veins so this makes it easy. This is where they draw blood from also. I’m doing ok. I for another treatment on Tuesday and see the Dr. on Thursday. It should be a good report unless something changes from the time they draw the blood until I see Thursday. Wish me luck! Hope all is well with you and I’m glad to hear u’re doing better. Please keep me informed and let me know how u’re doing! Let me know how u’re reacting to the pill. Remember everyone reactions differently u may end up being surprised. All these pills have side effects but I guess the good must out weigh the bad. How long are u supposed to be on it? Good luck and let me know what happens! Mary Z.❤️
