3 months agoHad a lumpectomy and thinking of reconstruction with fat grafting. Anyone done this? Was it ok?
Accepted Answer
Fat grafting reconstruction is becoming more common after lumpectomy, and many community members have shared positive experiences with this option. It would be helpful to hear from others who have gone through this procedure - their insights about recovery, results, and what to expect could provide valuable guidance as you consider your reconstruction choices.

2 months agoI had a lumpectomy in February 2025, radiation therapy ended in May 2025, and I will have fat grafting in December 2025. Fat grafting seems a good option for minor reconstruction needs, such a lumpectomy.

2 months agoI am about to go through fat grafting in November. I had the reconstruction surgery but the new breast is too small. I am having the grafting to make my breasts close in size. The dr did reduction surgery on my other breast but I had very large breasts.
