Is anyone having any complications from the Anastrozole? I have been experiencing dizziness and excessive body heat doing exercising.

These symptoms can be concerning, and it's encouraging that you're reaching out to connect with others who may have similar experiences. Many people taking anastrozole do report various side effects, and discussing them with your healthcare team can help determine the best approach for managing them while continuing your treatment. Other community members may share their experiences and coping strategies that could be helpful to hear about.

Hi Wanda, I am on anastrozole and experienced similar symptoms for the first year or so. It’s now 4 years later and I imagine my body has adjusted to it as I don’t experience any side affects! There are other meds that can be taken. Talk to your doctor and see if there is something else for you. Best of luck to you.

I stopped the meds for two weeks on the advice of my doctor. I feel better. I have an appointment to discuss other alternatives. Thank you for your response.

I was prescribed Anastrozole. At the end of the first week I was extremely tired, unable to urinate.Went to ER was admitted to ICU. I was told my kidneys were shutting down and I might need dialysis. They pushed a lot of meds and IV fluids. Next day they said I had sepsis. The only thing they could relate it to was a reaction to the Anastrozole. If something doesn’t feel right call your Dr or go to ER asap.
