7 months agoHello Ladies! I’m a newbie. I had my biopsy on 03/10/2025 was recently diagnosed on 03/18/2025 and had my first chemotherapy infusion on 03/25/2025. My 2nd infusion is next Tuesday. I feel like everything is happening so fast and I really haven’t had time to process all my feelings. How have all of you processed it all and what are some things that help kept you sane?

The whirlwind of appointments and treatments can feel overwhelming, especially when there's barely time to catch your breath between each step. Many people in this community find that taking small moments throughout the day to acknowledge their feelings - whether through journaling, talking with loved ones, or simply allowing themselves to feel whatever comes up - can help create some sense of grounding during this intense time. What has helped others here is connecting with fellow community members who truly understand this journey and can offer practical tips for managing both the physical and emotional challenges ahead.

5 months agoI know it sounds cliche, but just take it one day at a time. I completely understand your situation as mine was the same only it happened at Christmas which put a damper on things. I’m now on treatment #14 of 16 with surgery to follow. Don’t Dr Google…you will read things that may be outdated or not pertain to you. For me it was the “fear of the the unknown”. So if you think of a question, write it down, then go into your Dr visits armed with them. I felt as if everyone was dancing around my questions…I finally told them to talk to me as if I were their Mom. How I got through all this has been family/friend support. Pilates and walking. You will get to a point where the exhaustion is immense. Do what you can. Keep moving a little each day. Stay hydrated! It’s a journey and it’s okay to cry. I do at least once a week. Good luck with your treatment and think positive. You’re not alone.

5 months ago@Tiffany, how did you do all that do fast?! Mine was fast and a whirlwind the first 30 days from diagnosis to surgery. What type of cancer do you have?
