5 days agoI have been on letrozole for 2.5 years. The side effects were present initially for a few months then subsided. Now, 2 years in, my joints and bones are aching so much. Has anyone else had this delay of side effects?

5 days agoDelayed joint pain can indeed occur with letrozole, and many community members have shared similar experiences of side effects developing or returning after being on the medication for extended periods. This type of delayed onset isn't uncommon with hormone therapy medications, as the body's response can change over time. Consider discussing these symptoms with your oncologist, as they may have strategies to help manage the joint pain while continuing your treatment plan.

a day agoI had very few side effects from Letrozole for 12 or 13 months. Then hot flashes hit with a vengeance, then joints started aching, especially my hands in the morning. I have 8 small handheld fans - they help with the flashing. I stretch my fingers and hands and run under hot water. Really a nuisance! I also have brain fog - that is getting bad. Not sure what will help.

4 hours agoI have gone on and off Letrozole since June. I felt crippled. My dr. suggested it was the statin I was taking. Stopped that too. Felt great. Back on Letrozole. Miraculously no night sweats this go round. Some pain in my hands. We shall see what my primary dr. says next month.
