a month agoBone and joint pain during chemotherapy is a common side effect that many patients experience, and there are several approaches that can help provide relief. Some find gentle movement like short walks helpful when possible, while others benefit from warm baths, ice packs, or over-the-counter pain relievers - though it's important to check with your care team before taking any medications during treatment since they can advise what's safe with your specific chemotherapy regimen. Many patients also find it helpful to share specific strategies that worked for them, so hopefully others in the community will chime in with their experiences to help you through this challenging time.

a month agoMy oncologist said Claritin from day 1. It’s been 8 months and I still take one a day. Really helps and I can tell when I forget!

a month agoMy care team said to take cetirizine and Tylenol for bone pain. Unfortunately, that didn’t do a lot for me. I also use lidocaine patches on my knees. That helped a lot.

a month agoMy oncologist said Claritin from day 1. It’s been 10 months and I take it daily. I also have lupus and ra so sore joints are a thing. I find on really bad days salonpas patches or roll on are fantastic

14 days agoClaritin also resolved my bone pain during chemo. I recommend you try it unless you're allergic to any of its ingredients.
