6 months agoI think I have a recurrence after 5 years cancer free. I found a lump under my arm. I had a mammogram and ultrasound today and it is just this small area under my arm. I am beyond scared. Waiting for my biopsy.
Accepted Answer
Waiting for biopsy results can feel overwhelming, and finding a lump after being cancer-free brings up so many fears that are completely understandable. The waiting period is one of the hardest parts, but taking action with the mammogram, ultrasound, and upcoming biopsy shows strength in facing this uncertainty head-on.

6 months agoDid you do radiation with your first treatment? I’m currently doing Taxol and Herceptin for my IDC stage 2A but I’m on the fence about radiation because it has a side effect of creating reoccurrence after 5 years.

6 months agoYes, I did radiation. I had and now have a recurrence of triple negative breast cancer. It is more aggressive but does respond to chemo. 💗 PET scan on 6/24. Praying for no spread. 🙏🙏🙏

5 months agoCarole, They haven’t said, but to me it appeared different. This time it appeared on my skin instead of inside. Seemed more aggressive.
