Breast cancer pain can have different causes - sometimes it's related to the tumor itself pressing on tissues, inflammation, or treatments like surgery and chemotherapy. While inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) can cause significant discomfort, pain can occur with various types of breast cancer, so it's important to discuss specific symptoms with your healthcare team to understand what might be causing your particular experience.

Hi Jane, What hurts you? Is it the surgery or something else? Pardon me if I come across as ignorant. I was in pain a little after my treatment, and it lasted for a while. This includes when I had a lumpectomy. Now, I'm in pain again because of a masectomy.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't experience pain before. All the pain I experienced was treatment pain. Hope you feel better.
