This sounds like a really stressful situation to navigate, especially when dealing with medication that's important for managing ADHD. Finding a new healthcare provider who can review your medical history and continue your care is typically the next step when a doctor retires. Many people in similar situations have found success by contacting their previous doctor's office to see if records were transferred to another physician, reaching out to their insurance for in-network providers who treat ADHD, or asking their pharmacy for recommendations of local doctors who can help with medication management.

9 months agoDid your retiring Dr refer you to a new physician, or is there someone else in the practice that can refill the prescription.
