9 months agoI Did read they’re trying to do mammograms with the scan rotating around the breast instead of the plates. But I just had a mamo two days ago and it was much better!! The awful steel plates with the corners are gone and it took ten minutes or so instead of a half hour

9 months agoThere’s still pressure but she did breathing with me and it didn’t seem as bad as I thought it would be. She said I’m so skinny my ribs get bruised from being pushed into the scanner.

9 months agoOh about those scans and my cancer I can attest not flat like a pancake and they positioned me I didn't have to take my nipple piercings out until I got a full MRI for the trial I am in. Heck they let me leave all the others in that is a big plus. They were great they helped me get them out - the lady I worked with had a lip piercing and was totally cool throwing on some gloves and helping. It was a mess for a minute before she got there. Neither I or my spouse could get out my barbells unscrewed.
