I am curious to know, what year did Drs. start using aromatase inhibitors and hormone blockers as a standard treatment protocol?

Aromatase inhibitors became widely adopted as standard breast cancer treatment in the early 2000s, following major clinical trials that demonstrated their effectiveness in postmenopausal women with hormone-positive breast cancer. This is such an important question about treatment history, and understanding when these therapies were established can help patients feel more informed about their care options and the research behind current protocols.
