a year agoHas anyone had a radiation tattoo disappear before you have started treatment?
Accepted Answer
Radiation tattoos can sometimes fade or become less visible, which understandably raises questions about treatment planning. This is something that radiation oncology teams are well-prepared to handle, as they can recreate markings when needed to ensure accurate treatment delivery. It would be worth reaching out to the radiation team to let them know what's happening - they'll likely want to check and refresh any markings before treatment begins to make sure everything stays on track.

6 months agoI wish I hadn’t agreed to this tattoo. It’s right between my breast, but up a little and now looks like a blackhead. Not real dark but probably visible if I wore a low cut blouse. I also have one on the outside of each breast. They are all tiny but I know they are there. Never had a tattoo before this.

6 months agoI got them in 2005 with my first diagnosis. Mine are blue and very small (pin head small). They have faded over time.
