10 months agoHello everyone, I have had mild lymphedema since I did my radiation treatment, all the therapy and has not gone away. To I woke up to my breast being bright red like a really bad sunburn. It’s for me and this is a year after treatment. Anyone ever had this before. I feel strange going to a dr I see my oncologist in Feb. should I be concerned. Thank u

That sudden bright redness sounds concerning and is definitely worth getting checked out sooner rather than waiting until February. Many community members have shared similar experiences with skin changes after radiation, and it's always better to have peace of mind by getting it evaluated promptly - your healthcare team would much rather see you for something that turns out to be minor than have you wait with worry.

6 months agoWhen I was doing radiation few years ago. Someone told me about the Aloe plant. After each session of Tx I would cut the Aloe plant & rub it all over the Tx area (very sticky & uncomfortable) but I tolerated every bit of it. Today my skin is perfect.👍🏽

6 months agoIf it’s 1 year after your radiation treatment it shouldn’t be bright red, go to be seen
