Letrozole is a hormone therapy medication commonly used to treat hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, and it can have various side effects that affect people differently. Many community members have shared their experiences with this treatment, so connecting with others who understand what you're going through can be really valuable - feel free to share more about your specific concerns or questions.

I’m on letrozole. I was so scared of taking it because so many had bad side effects. I took a leap of faith and started taking it on October 5 and thank God have had no side effects.

Yes, I had a double mastectomy in August and started letrozole in October. No chemotherapy or radiation or anything else just letrozole

Thank you so much!! I appreciate you responding. I was on ibrance and letrozole and couldn’t tolerate it so I’m just on letrozole now. Bless you both!!

I’m on letrozole only. no radiation no chemotherapy I do have the hot flashes-they started immediately. I’ve been thinking about stopping the treatment. I’m post menopausal and they were just getting better and now they are sort of uncontrollable to me. It’s only been 3 months since I’ve started using the medication. I’m still deciding if I want to stay on or stop.

I’m ok on letrozole but I was up all night with hot flashes on ibrance. I’m at the point where I just don’t wanna take anything. I’m 69

I’m 77 and taking Anastrozole and don’t like it. I’m wandering if I alternate days of taking it, if it would still be in my system
