How do I manage anxiety during breast cancer treatment?

I'm going through breast cancer treatment and have been experiencing a lot of anxiety lately. I'm currently on Anastrozole (anastrozole) and Letrozole (letrozole), and I know anxiety is pretty common during cancer treatment. Between managing everything that comes with cancer and the hormonal changes from treatment, I'm dealing with feelings of worry and uneasiness that feel overwhelming at times. I'd love to hear from others who've been in similar situations and learn what helped you get through this part of your journey. • How did you manage anxiety during your breast cancer treatment? • What strategies or support helped you feel more at ease day to day?

Anxiety during breast cancer treatment is incredibly common, and the combination of treatment stress plus hormonal changes can definitely intensify those feelings. Many community members have found relief through a mix of approaches like mindfulness techniques, gentle exercise when possible, connecting with support groups, and working with counselors who specialize in cancer-related anxiety. It's also worth discussing these feelings with your oncology team, as they may have additional resources or strategies tailored to your specific treatment plan.

You are on both? I haven't heard of that combo before. Letrozole made me feel like a zombie and anxious. Anastrozole came with joint pain. Exemestane was better for me with less side effects.

Everyone handles anxiety differently. What works for some doesn't work for others. I tried therapy, wasnt for me. Didn't want to take another drug if I don't have to. I found that exercise, even just a walk, works for me.
