a year agoGood morning, I'm Drusilla W-H. I'm new to this community and wanted to share my story. I'm a four-time breast cancer survivor. It has been 22 years since my first diagnosis of stage one. Three years later, at stage 2, I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction, and for 15 years, I was cancer free. During the pandemic, I found a mass in my armpit that separated during chemotherapy that laid dormant for 15 years. They told me it was the same cancer. How they knew that, I don't know. In June 2024, the cancer spread again to a lining around my abdomen. I started chemo again and currently have treatments every 3 weeks. I said all that to say this. During all the chemo, radiation, surgeries, medicine, pills, and other therapy, I'm still here enjoying my life. Stay positive and pay attention to your body. It will let you know when something is not right. I found the lump every time myself. Much love to you all!

6 months agoYour story is such an inspiration. This is my 3rd round of Metastatic Breast Cancer. First time in 2007, then 2011 now 2023. Two different types of Cancer. This one is very aggressive and has spread all over my body. I have an inch tumor in my brain that is causing so many issues! Thank you for sharing your story. I will keep a positive outlook and know I’m still here for now for my family. Praying for you and your family

6 months agoWow! Wow! Wow! Thank you for sharing. You are an incredible inspiration. I was just diagnosed (last week) with Stage 2 ILC, yesterday MRI, found another mass, other breast, Biopsy for that tomorrow. It's all so new and scary. I am grateful for your story of hope and inspiration (thus far, I know.I am p+n+HER2 indeterminate, should know more tomorrow). Oncologist this week, then surgery, as advised. Will definitely travel to Huntsman SLC for female oncology surgeon and investigate reconstruction if possible. I live in S. Utah, small town of St George, Intermountain Cancer Center. Feel like I want to go for surgery and consult at highly skilled Cancer research hospital. It's all so new... But all you beautiful women are showing me I can survive, I can thrive and live forward in a new way... I can't tell you how grateful I am for you all.🩷
