It's completely understandable to feel scared when facing another potential concern, especially as a survivor. The waiting and uncertainty around follow-up tests can create so much anxiety, even when there are reassuring possibilities like a cyst. This community understands those feelings well, and connecting with others who have navigated similar scares can provide comfort during this stressful time. Hoping the ultrasound brings you clear answers and peace of mind soon.

Hi. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my right breast early stage in May, while going through all the pre testing something lit up on the MRI in my left. It was just a lymph node. I know exactly how you feel!!!

Oh Tammetrice I’m so sorry you are going through this. As you know once we’ve had cancer they watch us so close and check everything just to make sure. Good for you for keeping up with your screenings! Remember most of the time these findings don’t end up being cancer. I know the waiting for appointments and results can feel like torture but please know you are not alone and have so many of us on here holding space for you. Please keep us posted. 💛Suzanne (Community Moderator)

I think the waiting is the most stressful part , it consumes the mind totally and even if the result is not great the relief of the wait being over seems to have a calming effect immediatly, and then slows time for the “What if”

I’m just having such a hard time right now. I haven’t been diagnosed with anything yet. Have extremely dense breast tissue and have a possible abnormality in my right breast. It could be tissue overlapping or fibroedema. I’m literally holding my breath because the radiologist mentioned possibly seeing an irregular shape. This is terrible! I’m finding out tomorrow.
