This is such an important question that many breast cancer survivors face when dealing with recurrent UTIs. The concern about using estrogen cream after hormone-positive breast cancer is completely understandable, and it's something worth discussing thoroughly with your oncologist and gynecologist together. Many healthcare providers have experience navigating this balance between managing uncomfortable UTI symptoms and cancer treatment considerations, so hopefully others in the community can share their experiences with similar situations.

I was told by my oncologist that it was no big deal. Shortly thereafter I switched to another oncologist because I did not trust any of the info I was getting from current oncologist. He said things that I knew were not right. I live in Colorado and I am now seeing oncologist in Houston, TX because I didn’t believe the other dr. When I switched to MDAnderson in Houston whom our family has trusted for all cancers. She said stop taking estrogen immediately because it would not be good to take with my cancers. Had 3 biopsies they were all ER+, PR+ and HER2-.
