Anyone experience necrotic fat tissue as a result of radiation? Did it resolve itself? If so, how long did it take to resolve?

What was initially thought to be necrotic fat turned out to be metastases to my skin. Had no clue bc could spread to skin. You might want to ask for a biopsy. My skin met was a hard lump at bra line and I asked my dermatologist to remove it. She agreed but recommended a biopsy first.

I had an ultrasound done. They deemed it necrotic fat tissue. Will have follow up in 6 months.

Me too, just had mammo and ultrasound on painful lump right next to site of lumpectomy. We are just watching it for now, Dr said they can remove it if it doesn't improve. I think I'll wait and see at the next mammo in 6 months.
