Hair loss anxiety before chemotherapy is completely understandable and shared by many in this community. Consider exploring options like cooling caps, shopping for comfortable head coverings, or connecting with others who have walked this path - many find that taking small preparatory steps helps manage the fear and that hair typically regrows after treatment ends.

The whole process is scary. You need a sense of humor and embrace the changes. Try to see the positive in your treatment. I pre purchased a bunch of outfit coordinated head scarves (Amazon) and when my hair started falling out I went to a great clips and had it all shaved off. Not having hair saves lots of time getting ready to go places! The fatigue is what killed me. I'm an active person and giving myself permission to rest and not do as much was really hard. I'm adjusting and starting to embrace naps now and then. Your life slows down, write questions for your dr between appointments. Keep a journal. I never did this before and it helps with anxiety. Research, advocate for yourself and ask questions here. Everyone is very supportive and helpful. Don't be discouraged. You are stronger than you think. Sending love and hugs!

I haven’t heard of that procedure. My tumor was grade 3 and from mammogram and us where it was barely visible and not able to feel it grew in 2 weeks to where I could feel it and breast texture changed. I was in chemo in 3 weeks from suspicious mammogram so no time to research. Just happy it was caught early and am now ned. Good luck on your journey!!!
