Thank you for sharing your journey and for reaching out to the community about the challenges with your current medication routine. Managing side effects from hormone therapy can be really difficult, and it sounds like you're being creative by adjusting when you take your medication to help with the symptoms. Many patients in this community have navigated similar experiences with hormone therapy side effects, and discussing these challenges with your oncologist or care team is always the best first step - they may have suggestions for managing symptoms or alternative options that could work better for your situation. Your strength in getting through treatment is evident, and this community is here to support you as you continue this part of your journey.

Hi everyone. I’m probably older than most here at 73. I was diagnosed in February with invasive ductal cancer stage 1. Had a lumpectomy and four nodes removed in April and had the 16 treatments of radiation. Being post menopausal I’m now taking Letrozole. Two weeks in and I’m going through menopause all over again! Has anyone tried natural products that help hot flashes while on this medication? This med affects me in different ways but they are very short term. Hope my body adapts to this as I can’t see taking it for 5 yrs.
