Hi, my name is Glenn and I’m sorry for your situation. Let me tell you something that might make you feel better. I was diagnosed with colon cancer more than 10 years ago. I had the surgery and a few lymph nodes removed and I thought I was done. I thought I beat it a year later. Some small nodules showed up in my lungs. At that point, it became stage four colon cancer. I have basically been on various levels of colon cancer chemotherapy for more than 10 years and I look and feel pretty good. I had no trouble for the most part with any chemo believe it or not. Recently I lost 50 pounds so that’s my challenge right now to gain that weight back. Other than that, I’m looking forward to living as many more years as I can. I value every hour I’m alive. One other tip my friends and some family support me like you would not believe. Make sure you’re not going through all this by yourself. And make sure you’re with a good reputable cancer center and of course oncology doctor that can prescribe and give you the treatment that you need.
