How do I cope with stage IV colon cancer diagnosis and chemo fears?

WasJust diagnosed with stage IV colon Cancer that blocked my colon and metastasized in my liver with 8 small tumors. They are doing emergency surgery to remove the baseball tumor in my sigmoid colon so I can start to gain Weight again. I had no symptoms at 50 yrs besides weight loss and I Thought it was from working out. They want to start Chemo right away. I’m Scared to death. My dad died From complications at 84 with same cancer condition. But he was older and Weak.im finally happy again. Any other options? I hate Killing my body to kill cancer, I’m so angry. Bad divorce, lost my dad and then a 16 yr son. I truly think it grew out of stress and grief. But I’m looking for any other option. They say chemo is all that will save me. My life is finally so good again. And I get hit with this. Still going thru the motions. Thank you
