5 months agoMy dad has just been diagnosed with stage four cancer that has spread to his liver. He’s 70 years old and will start chemotherapy in two weeks, which he will continue every two weeks for the rest of his life. I’m really scared about what this means for him. Has anyone successfully combined chemotherapy with natural treatments?

Many people in this community explore combining conventional treatments with complementary approaches like nutrition support, gentle exercise, or stress management techniques. The most important step is having open conversations with the medical team about any complementary therapies being considered, as they can help ensure everything works safely together. This is such a challenging time, and connecting with others here who understand this journey can provide valuable support and insights.

My dad also was diagnosed with Stage 4 colorectal cancer 5 years ago and he went through radiation chemo and surgery and had his rectum completely removed and has been living with a colostomy bag ever since and has been doing great but just fpund out the cancer is back in his liver and stomach. We are waiting to find out what the next steps are.
