Changes in how the abdomen feels can be concerning, especially with advanced cancer, and it's completely understandable to have questions about new sensations. These types of physical changes could have various causes, so discussing any new lumps or areas of concern with your oncology team is really important - they know your specific situation and can properly evaluate what you're experiencing. Many others in this community may have similar questions or experiences to share as well.

Normal is not normal when one has cancer. I was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 CRC that involves my lungs and liver. Each day is my new normal. Each day is my opportunity to be as positive as I can be. I plan to beat this disease, one day at a time. As the AI responded, communicate with your oncology team. Ask questions. Research options. Hang in there.

I was diagnosed with stage 4crc. It had spread to my liver. I did six rounds of chemo. I then had surgery to remove part of my liver, appendix, gallbladder and a piece of my colon which was reattached. It is important to have a good medical team. If possible have a good team for you personally. I have my family. My daughter is my advocate. I have a great medical team. I started my second round of chemo Never give up. I am 74 and looking to start another chapter in my life.
