My husband is in treatment for stage 4 colorectal cancer HER2+. Infusions if Enhurtu every 3 weeks, 1 1/2 year since starting treatment. Constipation is a real problem. Has been taking ducolax with little result then MiraLAX , still little action. Suggestions please.

Managing constipation during cancer treatment can be incredibly challenging, and it's clear this side effect is causing significant distress. Many patients in similar situations find success by working closely with their oncology team to explore additional options beyond over-the-counter remedies, as treatment-related constipation often requires a more comprehensive approach that may include prescription medications or other interventions tailored to the specific treatment regimen.

I have stage 4 colon, pancreas, and gallbladder cancer. My doctor has me on miralax and doculax twice a day. It helps.
