Has anyone had chemo make surgery possible after being too risky?
Community Member
Hi. My husband was diagnosed October 2025. He is starting chemo this week. They wanted to do surgery but after his fibroscan the doctors decided surgery was too risky. They will rescan after three treatments to see if they can do surgery. Has anyone had luck with chemo improving things enough for surgery?

"What are the next steps after chemo and immunotherapy for Stage 3B cancer?"
Just joining the group. Finishing up chemo included in blind immunotherapy trial. It is unclear if it is working so looking forward to next steps. Stage 3B. Looks like it has invaded my liver. I have already had a liver resection.
