Should I have my stomach removed after immunotherapy for gastric cancer?

I was diagnosed with stage 2-3 gastric adenocarcinoma in August 2025. The doctor said I had the good kind of cancer because I was missing 2 proteins, MMR deficient, cancer cells that respond to immunotherapy and not to chemo. Quite honestly I would never take chemo anyway because it kills the good cells with the bad cells. I am on a strict diet to boost my immune system to help fight off my stomach tumor. I have 2 immunology treatments left. It should get rid of all the tumor. They say the next step is taking out my entire stomach. Not sure I will let them do that. Stomach removal is a life changing event. No real evidence I have found that removing your stomach will prevent cancer from coming back to another organ. Still trying to decide. Guess I will wait for my PET scan in a month.
