4 months agoI have glioblastoma in my thalamus. Diagnosed last June 2024. I had 6 weeks of radiation and chemo. Then in April 2025, I began 4 doses of Avastin. Tumor shrunk, but I have weakness in my right side. Last MRI was on June 4 and have my next one on Monday, Aug 4th.

Managing treatment side effects like weakness can be challenging, and it's encouraging to hear that your tumor responded well to the Avastin treatment. Many patients find it helpful to work with their care team on physical therapy or occupational therapy to address weakness, and connecting with others in this community who have similar experiences can provide valuable insights and support.
